NAVYA FOUNDATION is a charitable not for profit organization, registered under IndianTrust Act 1882 with a mission to promote research and training on therapeutic aspects of Music Therapy in India and USA. The working model of the organization is developed and executed by our Founder Mrs. Aradhana Deogharia. It is called the KPA ( Knowledge, Practice and Attitude) Model of Music Therapy at the macro and micro level.

The working model of KPA at macro level provides various channels and concepts to deliver the services under the flagship of Navya Foundation including Organizing Awareness Camps, Social and Mass Media Campaigns, Organizing musical concerts to cater the KNOWLEDGE of therapeutic approaches of Music Therapy in the Society. The organization offers the services to the target group to promote and enhance the client centered approach in rehabilitation through PRACTICE of individual and group music therapy in clinics, hospitals, retirement communities and rehabilitation centers.The research and training division of the organization is dedicated to create a positive ATTITUDE inside our society and overall country towards this new concepts of Music Therapy in health care system through various publications and training programs for healthcare professionals, social workers and youth of this country.

The working model of KPA at micro level provides KNOWLEDGE of basic musical elements to the target group through individual and group music therapy sessions and music classes.The skilled music therapist can PRACTICE various techniques of music therapy through client centered approach in rehabilitation centers, clinics, hospitals, dementia care, retirement homes and others. The long term services provided by skilled music therapists to the target group caters the positive ATTITUDE towards Music Therapy profession.
